Delivery

We do not deliver outside of the UK at the moment. Please, contact us if you have any question.

UK deliveries:

  • For Standard Delivery: £3.6 (Free for orders over £60) with Royal Mail. Your order will have a tracking reference and usually arrives within 2 to 3 days.
  • For Next Day Delivery: £7.2 with DPD. If you place your order before 4 P.M., it will be dispatched on the same day, you will also have a tracking link to follow your delivery.

You can return your order up to 14 days after the delivery date if you want to, this is your Cooling Off Period. Products that are unopened, undamaged, unused can be refunded. If you wish to proceed, please contact us by sending an email to customerservices@thediscoveryskincare.com. You will be asked to provide:

  • The order reference number.
  • The name and email address used.
  • The list of product(s) that you wish to return.

We will confirm the delivery address by replying to your email. We advise you to use a tracked service and to securely package the product(s). Upon reception, we will check your items and process the return within 14 days. The refund will be credited on your initial payment method.

We do not store your payment card details on our website for your safety.

Products

The Discovery products are formulated with few, as natural as possible and always non-toxic and non-controversial ingredients. Though, technically, it is possible to be allergic to literally anything. Even sun or water.

First, please check the ingredients list.

Then, if you think you are having an allergic reaction, please stop using the product and check with your GP.

We use many natural ingredients. Based on the season they were harvested and many other elements, it is normal for the colour, scent and texture to not always be the same and to change with time.

Please, store your products in dark and dry places.

We advise you to store Radiant Glow, illuminating serum in your fridge to keep fresh and stable.

Lumen Vitae formulations are made in France.

The packaging (jar) is made in Italy.

The box is made in the UK.

You can recycle jars and caps as you usually do.

The pomp though has to be thrown in general garbage.

Our formulations do not contain excessive amounts of touchy ingredients. Though, Ray of Light and Moonlight do have a small amount of essential oils (Ho Wood & Geranium) that you may choose to avoid. If you have any question, you should refer to your GP.

Ethically, we would never test our products on animals. Plus, The Discovery products are manufactured in Europe where the law forbids animal testing.

Also, we will never sell our products in countries where animal testing is mandatory.

Ray of Light, Moonlight and Radiant Glow are suitable for vegans.

Primal Light is not suitable for vegans.

We do not use toxic or controversial ingredients.

All our products are free from:

Parabens, phenoxyethanol, endocrine disruptors, petrochemicals, silicones, sulphates, PEGS, mineral oils, synthetic fragrances/colours.

Note: Those ingredients are not necessarily bad, they just don’t meet Lumen Vitae standards in terms of either results or ethics. 

We only use preservatives allowed by Cosmos standards.

Cosmetic preservatives allowed by Ecocert and COSMOS are considered more skin-friendly than some traditional preservatives.

It means that instead of using a water base for our products, we use an aloe-vera base to provide even more benefits to your skin.

*Radiant Glow is water-based as it has to be as light as possible. We plan to switch to a botanical water base in the next batch.
